Bird watching is one of the fastest growing recreational activities in South Africa.
As a birder-friendly establishment we aim to meet the needs of birders.
Our proximity to the Kruger National Park provides a diverse selection of birding sites within a small radius and we offer:-
- advice on places to visit
- walks on the property to the dam or on a short walking trail
- flexi meal times
- packed breakfasts and lunches
Our interest in birding has generated a bird list of 195 birds and this is being constantly added to. Of special note is the opportunity for raptor sightings.
Bush Walks
Walking trails – 1.5 and 2.5km – can be accompanied/self guided
Swimming Pool
Cool, clear, sparkling water surrounded by shady trees, indigenous bush and a giant antheap.
